Al Ha'ir Visitor Centres have been designed as an integral part of the Phase 1 works for the master plan of Al Ha'ir. One visitor centre is proposed on the north side of the main wadi within easy access of the existing road and a second on the plateau at the top of the sub wadi. The visitor centres will serve as reference points and sources of information, places of respite and refuge from the sun, exhibition facilities, low key educational facility, event centre, shop and visitor facilities.
The visitor centres have a strong visual connection with adjacent external areas and take advantage of the external views. They are demountable and capable of being reassembled on another site.
