Cell Therapy Centre

The Cell Therapy Centre, University College London, was a commissioned proposal for an Olympic Legacy Scheme for the refurbishment of part of the media centre that had been built at the Queen Elizabeth Park for the Olympics.

Subsequently the GLA offered a site on the London Docks opposite City Airport with the centre to provide not just research facilities but facilities to enable the building to become a central hub for the wider regeneration of this part of London. The 20,000 sqm of accommodation included laboratories, office space, conference facilities, meeting rooms and cafe.
